Robert gained significant experience in property development by working in the family business, which has been developing properties since the 1970s. Having founded Luxfair Group, Dr. Robert Zammit has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and success. With a background in law and extensive experience in marketing, property development and forging strategic supplier partnerships, both locally and internationally, Robert has demonstrated exceptional business acumen.
Under his leadership, Luxfair Group evolved from a start-up into a prominent entity, firmly establishing itself as a leader in property development, construction, and real estate in Malta. Robert’s visionary approach has also steered the Group’s expansion into the hospitality sector, with the successful launch of a hotel and restaurant and several upcoming projects set to elevate Luxfair Group’s footprint in the industry.
Since joining Luxfair Group in February 2024 as Chief Financial Officer, Reno Zammit has been pivotal in driving the company’s financial strategy and operational excellence. With over 35 years of experience in the finance industry, Reno combines deep financial expertise with a forward-thinking approach, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term value creation for stakeholders.
Under his guidance, Luxfair Group has streamlined operations, strengthened financial controls, and continued its growth in real estate and hospitality. Reno’s leadership, marked by his ability to solve complex financial challenges and foster collaboration, has positioned the Group to achieve ambitious milestones in its development and expansion.
Joining Luxfair Group in 2021 as Administration Assistant and Receptionist, Christine Burlo has played a key role in supporting the Director and ensuring the seamless coordination of daily office operations. With over 30 years of experience in office administration, Christine brings extensive expertise to her role, contributing significantly to the Group’s success.
Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment make her an indispensable part of Luxfair’s operations.
Since joining Luxfair Group in 2020, Warren has led the project management team as Procurement Officer, playing a vital role in overseeing all aspects of project execution and operational efficiency. From planning project timelines to coordinating resources and ensuring cost-effective procurement, Warren’s leadership has been instrumental in driving Luxfair’s projects forward.
In addition to managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery of materials, Warren has cultivated strong client relations, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. His ability to identify and mitigate risks has ensured that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
As a seasoned Project Manager at Luxfair Group, Christopher Bonello has been integral in overseeing building sites and ensuring the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion. With a strong background in construction management, Christopher has consistently delivered results by managing teams, timelines, and budgets with precision.

Nicholas Gatt has been a key member of Luxfair Group since 2021, serving as the personal driver to the CEO. Known for his professionalism and reliability, Nicholas ensures seamless transportation for the CEO, managing the demands of a dynamic schedule with ease.

Since joining Luxfair Group in 2020 as Senior Administrative Officer, Guenda Azzopardi has been instrumental in supporting the CFO and ensuring the efficient execution of various organizational operations. With a strong track record in administrative excellence, Guenda handles key documentation, financial oversight, and executive support, contributing significantly to the Group’s success.

Since joining Luxfair Group in 2022 as Group Operations Manager, George has focused on transforming and upgrading the company’s key assets. Currently overseeing the complete revamp of the Spinola Hotel, George is managing its expansion from 33 to 50 rooms, the addition of new amenities, and a comprehensive modernization.
From coordinating architectural designs to liaising with contractors and planning layouts, George’s attention to detail ensures the successful delivery of this significant project, elevating Luxfair’s presence in the hospitality sector.
Joining Luxfair Group in 2019, Adrian Chetcuti has brought over 20 years of experience in real estate to the company. As a dedicated estate agent, Adrian plays a key role in representing Luxfair in property sales and identifying promising sites for development.
Recognized for his loyalty and expertise, Adrian was invited by the founder, Dr. Robert Zammit, into a partnership with Luxfair Developments, where he contributes to advancing strategic projects. His commitment and vision have been vital in driving Luxfair’s success in the real estate industry.
Alex Mintoff joined Luxfair Group in 2022 as Hotel Manager, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in hotel operations and management. During his time with Luxfair, Alex has played a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and ethical running of operations, maximizing revenues, and maintaining high standards of service to achieve customer satisfaction.
Initially focused on hotel management, Alex expanded his responsibilities to assist with Luxfair Group’s Rentals Department, contributing to the coordination and enhancement of the Group’s property portfolio.
